Doji at resistance (SPY) — The dollar (UUP) rises, oil (USO) building support, SPY and IWM trying to push through resistance and the 34-ema. $215.90 and the 50-sma is the next big mountain for the SPY to climb if there is 34-ema success. From early August, the SPY chart has been controlled by the sellers, and the recent bullish activity has not changed very much other than we are seeing a fair amount of bullish charts setting up. The takeaway is the bullish charts while the market is in relief rally mode.
TECH is doing very well and the QQQ’s are rocking (watch AAPL).

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — $214.50 remains a very important line for the bulls to beat, and the morning futures are suggesting the bulls may rage war on that line today. How the SPY closes today could be very important to the outcome of this and next week’s trading. Above $214.50 are a few obstacles we need to keep an eye on the downtrend line, recently failed highs, the 50 and 34 moving averages and $217.53 the September high.

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — By following a few easy rules and understanding the basics of charting, we have seen great profits from new traders as well as seasoned traders. Even though the SPY continues to disappoint (by the way, $214.50 boogie man line is still scaring price away), we are seeing good-size fish being pulled out of the trading pond and still holding some fish for good, double-digit profits.

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The T-Line™ has pushed through the 34-ema on the 2-hour chart with price pushed tight against resistance (it’s a waiting game). The 4-hour and the daily charts are still in control of the sellers. $214.50 remains the first of several hurdles for the buyers to overcome. For the Russell 2000 Index ETF IWM, the price needs to be over $122.95 before it gets bullish marks.
WOW! Did you see our FSLR yesterday? We went to the bank on 1/2 the trade as many of the HRC subscribers did. CONN was another big winner. HRC subscribers took advantage of, both FSLR and CONN with more gains to come if managed correctly.
CONN ran, 14.37% yesterday
WIX closed higher, up another 4.98% for a total 28.89%
ARLP up another, .85% for a total of 33.20%

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Funny, I see reports that the Wall Street Journal and several news blogs are now getting concerned about the strength of the market. HOLY CRAP, Batman! For the past 26 days, we have been shouting this. It is crazy how traders hang on to their emotions for so long when the chart is staring them right in the face.
As a swing trader, all we have to do is learn a few charts patterns, understand what price action is using candlesticks signals, have an understanding of support and resistance, and let’s not forget the magic of a trend. The SPY and the market, in general, is under bear pressure. Just look at the SPY, IWM, DIA, and the QQQ.
WAC reached higher, up another 5.71% for a total 46.83%
ARLP closed higher, up another 2.84% for a total 32.08%
TPC slide lower, 4.03% yesterday for a total gain of 10.61%

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Thursday, Friday, and Monday printed a Low, a High, and a Higher Low. The futures this morning is suggesting the bulls may try and reach for the $214.50 area. Remember our charting rules; this would be nothing more than a relief rally until the bearish trend line is broken.
Take the hard right edge price out of the picture and you have a clear trend using the T-Line™ and the 34-ema. The 2-ema and the 3-ema are also still trending below the T-Line™.

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The SPY closed down Friday $1.57 from its Friday high failing to close above $214.50. Friday was the fourth-day price closed below the T-Line™ and today is likely to do the same. In all important time frames, the SPY is weak and the bears have the upper hand.
$214.50 is still the number to beat; downside numbers are $210.26-ish and $2017.70-ish.

CZZ Long, a classic J-Hook Breakout up 15.48% for our subscribers with a 2.73% move yesterday.
WAC Long, RBB pattern up 2.17% yesterday a total of 24.34% for HRC subscribers
NEM Short, 12.82% total for HRC subscribers
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The SPY found a little support .61 cents from one our deuce lines and closed above $212.39 (Septembers low). Until a close and support is established above $214.50, we will look at yesterday’s and today’s positive move as a relief rally. $215.50 is not a sign of total bullishness; it is merely the number that puts the SPY back in its sideways, go nowhere pattern.
Price and the T-Line™ are below the 34-ema, and the sellers have trend control. The weekly candlestick pattern in the SPY is still suggesting sellers have control and that $212.40 is very important.

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY)— The SPY closed yesterday with a Doji at the bottom of the previous day’s bearish candle, this is a classic Doji continuation pattern. At the close yesterday, we spoke with members/subscribers and suggested that the sellers had control and a move below Septembers low was likely. Our next target below the September low is about $210.15
The Doji Continuation pattern is a classic High Probable pattern that we teach here at HRC.

JDST, a classic (RBB) Rounded Bottom Breakout, up 39.70% for our subscribers and popped 9.77% yesterday.
ALJ, up 23.74% for our subscribers and yesterday was a 3.78% day.
It’s earning time again. Check and double check. Do you want to own a stock that has earnings?
If you were at the public webinar last night, you received a special trade ideas list. Make a trading plan, follow your rules, take profits and use a stop. I’ll see you at the bank when we deposit our gains!
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) The market turned more ugly than it was the day before. The SPY lost 1.26% finding help at the September low. Unless the Fed helps this market today, I doubt the September low is going to help. $210.40 is looking like a stop over based on yesterday’s attitude.
