From a bull’s eye:
The SPY closed up .28% and the 6th day with a T-Line™ run, still drawing a Inverted Head and Shoulder pattern on the daily chart.
IWM, DIA’a and the QQQ’s are also holding the T-Line™ with buyers becoming a bit more interested yesterday.
IWM and SMH showing have been trending well with signs of buyers.

So close but yet so far! Friday the DJ-30 was so close to the 20K number, just not close enough. Just looking at the DJ-30 chart, chart pattern and candlesticks I doubt 20K can dodge price for too much longer, the chart looks ready to take 20K on.
The SPY closed Friday with a doji continuation pattern that closed above our $226.50 line. This move suggests the buyers are outnumbering the sellers and price seem to be happy being above the T-Line™.

Yesterday was the 7th time price tip toed at our SPY $226.50 line in the past 17 days, I would say that’s an important area, wouldn’t you?
NUGT is getting ready to test the 50-sma, now finding support on the 34-ema. Above the 5o-sma NUGT will be an HRC-Rounded Bottom Breakout. We could see double-digit profits.

The SPY gapped above the T-Line™ yesterday, swinging higher then lower back to near the open where the SPY closed. Still, in a 14-day down trend channel, yesterday’s doji looks to be in a position to move north of the channel. With the $226.50 resistance time will tell.
Yesterday seemed like a boring day but for some not so much. One of our members closed out a trade 75% $11,000 bucks …….not so boring there.

The last few days of 2016 was a bit soft when it came to the market, this allowed the sellers to step in a bit. Priced has closed below the t-Line™ and below the $234.70 support area. We now can see a resistance downtrend line that the bulls will need to pick apart.

From a bull’s eye: Happy New year!
The SPY is showing signs that the recent Trump run may need a rest. With a couple failed highs and a couple candlestick sell signals ending yesterday with what could be a doji continuation pattern.
With the current trend path and the candlesticks formations, I am thinking $221.70 would be a good destination providing $223.35 doesn’t hold the buyer’s attention.

From a bull’s eye: You can see in your 60-min and 2-hour SPY charts that the sellers are trying to sneak up on the buyers. On both charts, the T-Line™ is trying to fall below the 34-ema when you can also see selling signs in the candlesticks as well…This may be a good reason to protect your profits with tighter stops or just close the position.
