Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The SPY closed down .90%, tagging the daily 50-sma, dropping back through the 34-ema. The bulls seem to be afraid of the $217.40 area and now they are back below the T-Line™. The SPY chart is not a picture a BULL would be proud of going back to early August.
We still like the $212.40ish area as a price destination and if price approves it a temporary area of support.

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Another up day for the SPY yesterday but still going nowhere. Price remains under the 50-sma, and $217.40 is the next price resistance for the bulls to work through and the bears to defend. I am still not very bullish on the SPY or the DIA’s; IWM and QQQ’s look a little better. I am bullish on a lot of charts. There are some very nice charts out there ready to produce double-digit gains. (That’s what makes trading fun).
We continue to see profits emerge from the HRC and RWO members, and the trade ideas coming from the trading rooms are fantastic!

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The sellers remain in control of the chart from the eyes of a swing trader, despite yesterday’s Bullish Engulf. Candlesticks are only 1 piece of the swing trading puzzle. Trends, support, and resistant are 3 more pieces that are needed and depending on your personal plan there may be more.
Sellers have kept the price under pressure only allowing brief and minor moments of light to peak in, not enough to spark a bull rally that has any meaning. While I am bearish on the SPY I am bullish on many individual stocks.
Members of Hit & Run Candlesticks and Right Way Options have remained profitable by following a plan for each trade and trading the chart in front of us. We remain profitable because of the solid education and confidence.

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Swing traders, the T-Line is trending below the 34-ema and price action is starting to look like a Bearish “h” pattern. So far, the $215.55 resistance line has proven to be stronger than the bull. A test of $212.31 (September low) seems likely. If the bear wins the $215.31 battle, $209.35 would be the likely target. We are still finding a few long trades, but the profits are smaller and quicker. Adding a few short trades may prove to be wise, and, of course, the inverse ETFs are always good when the bear leads.

Three lower highs, a hint of trouble – Before there were three lower highs, there was two shooting star double tops. The current chart pattern of the SPY is not one that a bull should be happy with. The picture that is being painted is suggesting the bears are outnumbering the bulls. The morning weakness is suggesting there may be a test of September low; a fail at the September low would put the $209.35 as the next major lower target.

After yesterday’s gap, the story was pretty boring. All of the yesterday’s move was in the gap leaving the rest of the day to do whatever you do.
The SPY did close over our $216.80 line, just not as strong as I would have liked. A proper pullback can be very bullish, (we will talk about this in the trading room today, if not proper not so good for the bulls.)
This past week was fantastic for our members, HRC and RWO.
AEGR (RBB Pattern) broke out and ran 52% with the help of a Doji continuation pattern. CRMD (RBB Pattern) jumped the 200-sma for about 60%. PTCT (RBB Pattern) found the T-Line™ and didn’t let go. CLVS (RBB Pattern) after completing the RBB Pattern +45% CLVS jumped the 200-sma for another 73%. CONN (RBB Pattern) and T-Line™ Run 65%

No rate hike! If history repeats itself and it should, the bulls should be feeling pretty good. Price has closed over the important $215.55 area and will try to take on the $216.80 area, which is another resistance area that the bulls needs to win. The 3-day chart is forming a Bullish Morning Star signal and with follow-through, over $216.80 could set the bulls free to print new highs.

$212.30 remains support and $215.55 remains resistance on the SPY chart. Not much has changed in the past 6 trading days. Resistance is resistance and support is support. Both the buyers and sellers seem content on waiting for the FOMC and BOJ to bless us with their words of wisdom (Ha). Either way, price remains trapped between support and resistance, and the T-Line™ seems to be keeping the bulls from escaping.
Computer distribution was the big winner yesterday gapping and closing up 6.7% while Semiconductor memory was received poorly, down 2.66%

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
$212.30 remains support and $215.55 remains resistance on the SPY chart. The T-Line™ should be considered now that it has caught up to price. This week the big bad FOMC meets and will let us know of a rate hike or not, which I suspect will move the market.
Last week we were able to find great trades in both long charts as well as inverse ETFs in lieu of short trades. I expect nothing different this week.
