The Broken Wing Butterfly Strategy is also known as a Skip Strike Butterfly.
Because it uses multiple option strikes it is considered an advanced option strategy and suitable for experienced options traders. Make sure you understand the trade and have practiced the execution and management of the position with a paper trade account until you feel comfortable with all the aspects of the position and your brokers trading platform.

Good morning everyone
Happy Friday everyone! This morning the market has a bit bearishness as the majority of the earnings seem to be failing to impress investors. Both Asian and Euro markets were mixed overnight with a slightly bearish lean.
Overall our major indexes remain in a very tight range with sideways chop maintaining control. If you are struggling in this market you are not alone. Data showed that last quarter the hedge fund industry performed less than the S&P average due to this challenging environment. 28 billion flowed out of hedge funds last quarter which registering as the biggest number since the 2009 selloff. Significant outflows continued in the mutual funds as well last quarter. Obviously, this isn’t a big confidence builder in the overall market however we need to see better price action before making any major moves.
There are a couple Fed speakers today but no major economic reports. Keep in mind there will be a major jump in earnings reports next week. Perhaps we may get some better clues next week but for now, I want to remain very cautious and small as we head into the weekend.
Have an awesome weekend everyone.
Trade Wisely,
Doug

T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — By following a few easy rules and understanding the basics of charting, we have seen great profits from new traders as well as seasoned traders. Learning the basics is a great way to keep trading simple. Even though the SPY continues to disappoint (by the way, $214.50 boogie man line is still scaring price away), we are seeing good-size fish being pulled out of the trading pond and still holding some fish for good, double-digit profits.
Below are a few fish that have been caught and a few still being reeled in:
CRK +17.74%
WAC +49.47%
ARLP +34.32%
CZZ +24.83%
We have many more that we have caught this past week and many more that are still being reeled in.

Although we’ve discussed Dragonfly and Gravestone doji in the past, we never got around to explaining the simplest of all candlestick patterns: the basic doji, sometimes referred to as a “Doji Star.” Resembling a plus sign or a cross, the doji candlestick pattern is formed of just one candlestick, and it is incredibly common. Although there are several different types of doji (such as the Gravestone, the Dragonfly, and the Long-Legged), which we will describe briefly, today we’re focusing on the classic, original doji. To learn how to identify this informative candlestick pattern and interpret its presence, simply scroll down.

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The T-Line™ has pushed through the 34-ema on the 2-hour chart with price pushed tight against resistance (it’s a waiting game). The 4-hour and the daily charts are still in control of the sellers. $214.50 remains the first of several hurdles for the buyers to overcome. For the Russell 2000 Index ETF IWM, the price needs to be over $122.95 before it gets bullish marks.
WOW! Did you see our FSLR yesterday? We went to the bank on 1/2 the trade as many of the HRC subscribers did. CONN was another big winner. HRC subscribers took advantage of, both FSLR and CONN with more gains to come if managed correctly.
CONN ran, 14.37% yesterday
WIX closed higher, up another 4.98% for a total 28.89%
ARLP up another, .85% for a total of 33.20%

Good morning everyone
Yesterday it was nice to see a little bullishness in the market but overall we continue to remain trapped in a very small range. Earnings this far have really not inspired the bulls or the bears into taking a lead.
A very big move in either direction remains a possibility so if you do decide to trade make sure you have some balance in your portfolio with long and short positions.
Trade Wisely,
Doug

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Funny, I see reports that the Wall Street Journal and several news blogs are now getting concerned about the strength of the market. HOLY CRAP, Batman! For the past 26 days, we have been shouting this. It is crazy how traders hang on to their emotions for so long when the chart is staring them right in the face.
As a swing trader, all we have to do is learn a few charts patterns, understand what price action is using candlesticks signals, have an understanding of support and resistance, and let’s not forget the magic of a trend. The SPY and the market, in general, is under bear pressure. Just look at the SPY, IWM, DIA, and the QQQ.
WAC reached higher, up another 5.71% for a total 46.83%
ARLP closed higher, up another 2.84% for a total 32.08%
TPC slide lower, 4.03% yesterday for a total gain of 10.61%
