Swing Trade Ideas November 12, 2015

Rick’s Featured Trade Ideas

CSTE/Long (Basic materials)  CSTE has posted higher lows and higher highs coming off the bottom with a Rounded Bottom Breakout and an explosion candle off a double bottom.  The past week we’ve seen minor profit taking and resting on the T-Line with the Doji at the close of yesterday.

SPY:  The $206.95 low was able to keep the sellers away yesterday, but the buyers were not able to close over the T-Line.  The buyers managed to put together an early morning bullish high but gave it all back closing down .39% with a dark cover candle in sideways consolidation.  There is an above average probability that we see a low today that meets the $206.95 or breaches that number.  Overall, the Bulls have managed to keep us above the 23.6 fib level, the 200-day simple moving average and the big three.  The SPY is still in the short-term downward channel that I drew on my chart in the trading room and is still on track to my mid-$204 target area.
IWM:  After yesterday’s bearish engulf, IWM is likely to see $116.00.
SMH:  SMH has minor support waiting for it at about $52.90.
IYT:  IYT continues to act like an old broken down car; it doesn’t work.
S&P VIX Short-Term Futures VXX:  One day it’s above the T-Line and the next day it’s below the T-Line, but while it’s playing that game it is trying to construct a little rounded Bottom.
