Good Morning,

SPY:  Yesterday the SPY closed with an inside day Doji while resting on the T-Line, once again failing to clear the $208.70 area. Today’s trading will be all about Ms. Janet and the FOMC meeting, forecast and press conference.  Up to about 2 PM today, the market should be relatively quiet.

The following are numbers that the market must confront, beat and hold in short order; otherwise, we could see a sellers’ pattern develop:
SPY     $208.70 (failed so far)
IWM     stay above $121.95  (success, now needs to hold)
DIA     $180.12 (failed so far)
QQQ     $106.31 (success, now needs to hold)

IWM:  IWM has been one of our two leaders and has successfully stayed over the $121.95 area, closing yesterday with a bullish Doji sandwich pattern.  The pattern forming in the IWM chart suggests bullishness; unfortunately, the overall market is influenced by the Feds and is put on hold right before they speak or announce.
