ADPT/Short (Healthcare)  As you can see in the ADPT chart, the September high failed the August high with two shooting stars followed by a gap down and confirmation.  Friday’s candle is a visual picture of the sellers taking control on large volume.

Rick’s Featured Trade Ideas

FB/Long (Technology Information)  In the FB chart, Prices rallied back over the big three and the downtrend line.  The recent pullback to the 50 day simple moving average appears to be offering a run to about $100 then 113.50.  Facebook has been talked about in the trading room for the last couple of days as a trade.  A few of us took it yesterday with a Bullish Engulf.

TZA/Long (Small Cap Inverse)  In the TZA chart, it has tested support and two major moving averages.  The T-Line remained above the 34 EMA on the profit taking pull back, and now price has taken over the 20-day simple moving average.  The weekly chart has drawn a Doji followed by a Bullish Engulf.

ELNK/Short (Communication)  In the ELNK chart, the daily price has closed below the big three and the T-Line caused by the bearish evening star with a bearish continuation pattern.  On the weekly, there is a bearish dark cloud cover followed by a bear flag and a Bearish engulf.  Price action on the two-hour chart has already failed the T-Line Trend test and the deuces, and the four-hour chart has also failed the T-Line Trend test and is getting ready to test the deuces.

Rick’s Featured Trade Ideas

SQM/Long (Basic Materials)  In the SQM chart,  there was a bullish morning star in late July followed by a bullish T-Line run, and then in late August, I can see a bullish belthold with a gap then followed by a bullish T-Line run that topped out at the 100 SM with a Shooting Star.  Profit-taking took place with a flag and a set of Doji’s creating a PBO.   Yesterday’s bullish candle is now painting a bullish J-Hook breakout.  Note the gap back in mid-June.
