Today’s Swing Trade Ideas

BCOV/Long  (Technology Sector Software Application) After Friday’s breakout on high-volume BCOV  has become a rounded bottom breakout with about 45% profit measuring from the 50 day simple moving average.  Notice the candlestick rounded bottom for the past two weeks.

My entry plan idea:  On a pullback below 6.55 and above the 50sma
My stop plan idea:    A close below the 50sma area

Good Morning,

SPY:  At the close on Friday, the SPY printed a hanging man candlestick signal which implies the sellers may try to push price away from its Friday high.

SPY:  At the close on Friday, the SPY printed a hanging man candlestick signal which implies the sellers may try to push price away from its Friday high.

The recent trend starting from the October 15 lows has been bullish with a run back up through the 200 SMA and the big three as well as a bullish T-Line run.  Even if there is selling off of Friday’s candle, that would not necessarily mean that the sellers have taken control; consider what the trend is doing.

IWM:  IWM also printed a hanging man candlestick signal at the close on Friday which implies sellers may try to pull price below Friday’s high.  The bullish run from the September lows has been impressive, and Friday did close above the downtrend line from the July 1 highs to the July 3 highs to the October 30 highs.

The S&P 500, NASDAQ, Russell 2000 and the Dow Jones are all a bit overbought and could stand a profit taking pull back in the near future.
