Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — The SPY closed down .90%, tagging the daily 50-sma, dropping back through the 34-ema. The bulls seem to be afraid of the $217.40 area and now they are back below the T-Line™. The SPY chart is not a picture a BULL would be proud of going back to early August.
We still like the $212.40ish area as a price destination and if price approves it a temporary area of support.

The word piercing has several varied definitions, but most of them revolve around the same idea: “go into or through something,” “force or cut a way through,” “seeming to cut through one,” “bore a hole or tunnel through,” etc. The Bullish Piercing candlestick pattern is likely named piercing because of the way the white candle’s close cuts through the midpoint of the previous day’s black candle. Good morning everyone. The surprise deal announced yesterday from OPEC on cutting oil production really moved the market strongly yesterday afternoon kicking it out of the doldrums if had been for most of the day. I don’t know about you I was really happy just to see the market go in the same direction for 2-day in the row! Do we even dare to hope for a third?
At this moment the futures have moved to slightly bearish ahead a bunch of economic news that does have the ability to really move the market. Let’s all join hands and chant for good reports. LOL
Today this is again 5 Fed members out flapping their lips keeping the market at the edge of its seat.

MB Long | Bullish “W” pattern breakout

Good Morning, Profit Traders,
T-Line™ below the 34-ema (SPY) — Another up day for the SPY yesterday but still going nowhere. Price remains under the 50-sma, and $217.40 is the next price resistance for the bulls to work through and the bears to defend. I am still not very bullish on the SPY or the DIA’s; IWM and QQQ’s look a little better. I am bullish on a lot of charts. There are some very nice charts out there ready to produce double-digit gains. (That’s what makes trading fun).
We continue to see profits emerge from the HRC and RWO members, and the trade ideas coming from the trading rooms are fantastic!

I’m not sure what got into CAT today but it has really zoom higher in out favor. However we are short the OCT 85 calls and of course, they are being attacked.
I personally plan to continue to hold the short calls until tomorrow to see if the stock pulls back. If it does continue higher tomorrow I would suggest selling it right away. You, of course,could exit the OCT 85 calls at anytime you choose. Without the short calls, the long NOV calls would have a nice 22% overall gain the position so far.
So you decide, get out now or wait until tomorrow to see if the stock pulls back for a better price on the exit.
