One of Today’s Featured Trade Ideas
ACTG/Long (Industrials) ACTG is one of our Rounded Bottom Breakout strategies that has started a low-high/higher-low/higher-high trend.
I will be covering more on the trade plan (entry, stop, targets) in the trading room at 9:10 AM EDT today. Click here to learn more
Something to think about: Focus on the best trades for you. Study stock charts and identify high probability setups. Start with one or two trade setups, master them and then add more setups.

SPY: The FOMC meeting begins today along with the S&P Case Shiller report, consumer confidence report, and tomorrow we have the pending home sales index, EIA petroleum status report and then at 2 PM the FOMC meeting announcement. That’s a lot to take in for the next two days and sift through. This is why we follow the charts and what price action is doing utilizing candlesticks and candlestick patterns along with support and resistance. The SPY ended up closing yesterday with the Doji on the 200 SMA. I would suspect that a relief bounce is in order since we are in such a short-term oversold condition. The market needs to form a reversal bottom before it can become tradable. There are many stocks that have such a bottom and are poised to reverse.
IWM: IWM found support at the 200 simple moving average, but the trend is still down and the Bulls are still on the outside fringe. If you’re dying to be bullish, try to be patient and wait for the signal and the trend change.
SMH: The sellers still have control and as of the close yesterday, there are no signs of the buyers being serious.
IYT: The transports are still derailed.
