One of Today’s Featured Trade Ideas
TZA/Long (ETF small cap Bear) Because IWM still looks weak, I will be looking at adding to my TZA today. TZA is acting as if it wants to come off the lower trend line and head higher. The last four candles are suggesting the Bulls are setting up the bottom for a rally. TZA is also a bullish rounded bottom breakout.
I will be covering more on the trade plan (entry, stop, targets) in the trading room at 9:10 AM EDT today. Click here to learn more
Something to think about — A snippet taken from a soon-to-be-released eBook prepared by Hit & Run Candlesticks:
The Right Mindset for Trading is achieved by developing your trading skills and building your confidence in executing trades. This is a process that involves education, stock chart reading and designing trade setups for the trading method you select. The bottom line is SKILL + CONFIDENCE = Right Mindset for Trading
TZA Trading Plan (Entry, Stop, Target)
SPY: Because the SPY managed to close over the big three yesterday with a Doji candle, it still may be attempting to take on the July 31 highs at $211.45. Unfortunately, the overall chart is not helping, and price is in a suspicious area to either pop or drop. Maintaining caution is always important but might be more so lately. If you happen to have linear regression lines on your chart, take a look at the two-month linear regression line and the two-week linear regression line. It becomes clear that the sellers are winning.
IWM: Clearly still controlled by the sellers as of yesterday’s close.
SMH: Clearly still controlled by the sellers, but the buyers are trying to put a party together with a possible LH/HL setup.
IYT: Bulls are trying to turn the transports and have done a fairly good job. Yesterday’s candle is suggesting a little profit taking coming in.
