SPY: Have you ever tried to open a locked door? Walked away to stop and say to yourself, “let me try it one more time” and it was still locked? That’s whatthe SPY must feel like. The Bulls tried to go through the locked door on March 18 and came back and tried it again yesterday. It is truly amazing how trend lines act as support and resistance. I find that all traders know about them but not all traders use them. Unless there’s a change in attitude and the buyers put together a bullish strategy, it looks like a possible test of the 50-simple moving average is on its way.
IWM: IWM printed a double top Shooting Star yesterday. The close today might be a very telling story as to whether yesterday’s candle will get a dark side follow-through or not.
