SPY: Friday makes 21 days that price has closed above the T-Line — very impressive by the Bulls, I might add. For about the past week, price has also consolidated around the 200-day simple moving average, and Friday closed with a bearish evening star which suggests we might see a little pullback. Judging by my four-hour and daily charts, the numbers seem to be $205.45 to $204.55.
IWM: IWM continues to struggle with the $117.50 area.
SMH: The bearish evening star from last week has successfully pushed price below the T-Line causing a minor pullback but still continuing to consolidate around the 200-day simple moving average.
IYT: The transports have just been spinning their wheels for the last couple of weeks.
S&P VIX Short-Term Futures VXX: Last week I posted that VXX was trying to build a bottom but still closing below the T-Line. The VXX continues to show a battle between the Bulls and the bears with a tightening of the range.
