Today’s Swing Trade Ideas
BABA/Long (Specialty Retail) BABA looks to be gapping up this morning on earnings, and a close above the 50 SMA will give us a Rounded Bottom Breakout. In the next couple of weeks, we could see BABA in the $95 area.

Possible entry plan idea: The buy box is from $83.50 to $87.60
Possible stop plan idea: A close below the 50-sma
After our morning call of UVXY in the trading room, there were several members that enjoyed the rain of money. Both TVIX and UVXY are currently pinball setups.
TBT is approaching the 200-simple moving average, so watch for some consolidation or a pullback.

SPY: The buyers did manage to bring the SPY up from its lows yesterday before the close, and we are approaching an oversold condition, but I do think it’s a little early. The sellers controlled yesterday’s price, and keeping the close below the big three and the T-Line still gives the sellers the upper hand.
IWM: IWM has reached oversold according to stochastic settings 12.4.4, but the candlesticks as of yesterday’s close did not show a strong bull presence. A bearish dreaded “h” pattern is still being drawn by the chart artist.
