More on how to trade the members ideas in the Live Trading Room 9:10 AM Eastern Trading Room.
Good Morning,
SPY: Yesterday in the trading room, I brought everyone’s attention to a simple T-Line chart and how price continues to printlower highs and lower lows while pulling the T-Line down through a bearish channel on the daily chart. On the two hour chart, you can clearly see a bearish head and shoulders that is forming a bearish “h” pattern right now. The $206.10 area or the 50-day simple moving average is the likely target for price to find some sort of relief. For a bullish reversal to happen down at this level, we need to see a bullish confirmation pattern. Anything less is likely to be a short-lived relief rally or a dead cat bounce.
IWM: Although a bullish harami (inside day) was printed on the daily chart yesterday, it is merely part of a continuation pattern that is currently headed in a downward direction. $119.20 or the 50-day simple moving average could act as support. Remember that support is only as good as price will allow.
